For a
Salesperson to obtain their Brokers License, the following
criteria must be met before they can take their Brokers Exam:

Must have
Salesperson License for at least two years.

Must
complete the following statutorily required college-level
courses:

Real
Estate Practice
-
Legal
Aspects of Real Estate
-
Real
Estate Finance
-
Real
Estate Appraisal
-
Real
Estate Economics or Accounting
-
And
three* courses from the following group:
-
*Real
Estate Principles
-
*Business Law
-
*Property Management
-
*Real
Estate Office Administration
-
*Escrows
-
*Mortgage Loan Brokering and Lending
-
*Advanced Legal Aspects of Real Estate
-
*Advanced Real Estate Finance
-
*Advanced Real Estate Appraisal
*If applicant completes both Accounting and Real Estate
Economics, only two courses from group (f) are required.
Applicants who complete the above statutorily required
college-level courses are eligible to take the salesperson
examination without providing further evidence of education or
experience.
NOTE: Requirements for renewing a Brokers License are the
same as a Salespersons 45-Hour Renewal.
